Brum Notes Magazine

Brum Notes Magazine is a free, monthly guide to music and lifestyle across West Midlands.  The website had to handle all of the features of the magazine and more and has evolved into a feature rich site that keeps visitors coming back.  The site is built on the WordPress platform and allows users to write reviews, articles and pages.  There is also a gig listings page that displays all the gigs in the West Midlands.  There is a search facility that allows the user to search date, town, band or venue.

There is a digital version of the magazine that is uploaded every issue that can be read online.  Social media has also been incorporated into the site with a Twitter feed and links to Facebook and Flickr.  There is also a merchandise section built into the site where users can purchase band t-shirts etc.
